Katherine has been in medical education for her entire career which began in 1987. Since 2006, she has been President and CEO of HealthmattersCME. Prior to that Katherine’s experience includes three years with AM Medica Communications Group where she was the Chief Operating Officer of the organization. Before that, Katherine was with NCM Publishers for nine years where she was Executive Vice President during the last several years and supervised the Eli Lilly and Company account among others. Prior to that, Katherine was Senior Program Director at NCM and implemented a large number of medical education programs (both CME and promotional) and reported directly into the two owners. Katherine has experience in several therapeutic areas such as CNS (depression and schizophrenia), women’s health, infectious disease, cardiology, and osteoporosis. She has extensive experience implementing symposia, spin-offs, and publications for several Global and Domestic Neuroscience and Osteoporosis Teams at Eli Lilly and Company. Also, in Katherine’s career she has created and implemented hundreds of CME activities in both the US and Europe in collaboration with various medical universities and institutions. Katherine has a BA in Business Administration from Stephens College and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. She recently completed 10 years of service as a member of the Board of Trustees at Stephens College. Her hobbies include taking care of her four children, tennis, and water skiing. |
